Mexicans are very warm, outgoing people and his host family was treating him like a part of their family. It was difficult to get used to the spicy food, but he was really enjoying it. Also he had difficulty understanding social etiquette. For exmple Mexicans usually turn up for an appontment at least half an hour late.
