Blue as the sky, sunburnt and lonely, Sipping tea in a bar by the roadside, just RELAX, just RELAX . Don't you let those other boys fool you, got to LOVE that afro hair do.

Maybe sometimes, we FEEL afraid, but it's alright The more you STAY the same, the more they seem to CHANGE. Don't you think it's strange? (Repeat chorus)

It was more than I could TAKE, pity for pity's sake Some nights kept me awake, I thought that I was stronger When you going to realise, that you don't even have to TRY any longer?

“Teens’ Leisure Time”

Today, I would like to mention a big topic. What do you think about Teens’ Leisure Time? Teens are so weird nowadays. And sometimes adults don't understand why their children waste time on some activities.

Also,  the way of spending the leisure time depends on the country that you live. So, I would like to analyse and compare activities in Great Britan and Russia.

First of all, there is a list of top 5 sport activities in Great Britan:

1. Playing cricket

2. Playing ragby

3. Playing tennis

4. Swimming

5. Playing football

And there is a list of Russian popular activities:

1. Playing hockey

2. Playing football

3. Swimming

4. Skiing

5. Figure skating

So, as we can see there are some differences between two counties. For example, there are lots of winter sport in Russia, because the climate is perfect for skiing and hockey. And of course it isn't so popular in Great Britan. However, we may see that they prefer sports, that root from their rich aristocratic history, like ragby or cricket. Moreover,  I would like to underline that in Russia it's so popular to go hicking in the mountains or forests. Everybody knows that  Russia has unique natural resources and the beauty of Russian nature makes even teens admire. By the way, in Great Britain youngsters also love to go outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. Picnics in parks are so popular there.



Secondly, nowadays teens love to spend their free time with real pleasure and they like to enjoy it.

The cinema, museums and cafes are the most popular places in Russia for teens! Yes, it's so surprizing, that teens in Russia love go to the museums, it's because of a huge number of amazing architectural, historical and art exhibitions.

In Great Britain young generation prefer spend time in different kinds of pubs, karaoce places, fast food cafes and libraries! We may think that teens in Britain love  reading because the country has
rich and diverse literature heritage.



In conclusion I would like to mention that there are plenty of other kinds of activities such as traveling, visiting historic places,  putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading,  skateboarding, going fishing, hitchhiking, doing the shopping,  joining a computer club and so on. However the truth is that  "so many teens, so many kinds of activities."

For example, people who have the same interests can work on a common project. And in the same time they may live on the different parts of our planet.

Furthermore internet platforms give great opportunaties to bussinessmen. For instance they may use a lot of platforms for FREE promoting their bussiness.

I should mention one more intersting opportunity. People may sell different things, that they do not need anymore, in the internet. So, you can get money and get rid of unnecessary things.

By the way, people do not need go to shops anymore! There are amazing online-shops, where you can choose and buy something for yourself.

All in all, social media is one big and great platform that makes  our modern life better. And all of us should use it and enjoy all the benefits.

Nowadays, it's impossible to imagine a modern person without any gadgets,such as laptops, phones,tablets and so on. And if we are talking about gadgets we mean communication. And modern communication implies active interaction in the social media.

Social media is everywhere, some people are even Facebook addicted,  but anyway social media provides us with lots of  benefits.

First of all, it's a great opportunity to keep in touch with your faraway relatives.  And you can do it almost free of charge) I plan to get my further education in another city and I guess that social media will help me not to miss my relatives.

Secondly, networks help you with your self- development, you may find lots of promotions of different educational courses. For example, you may live in Cheliabinsk and enjoy the lectures of outstanding professors teaching in Oxford or Cambridge.

Also I should mention that computer technologies and especially  social media provide lots of opportunaties for the dissabled. They may get education,develop their professional skills, earn money andcommunicate with other people.

Furthermore, everybody knows that it's an amazing source of entertaiment.You may download movies, books, videos, music and so on. Of course, I know that it is called piracy, however everyone in Russia does it.

All in all, the disscussion of Social media can be endless, but I want to underline that social media is an integral part of our modern life and we are happy to enjoy all its benefits.
