Do schools kill creativity?

Our society is based on a well-established system.  Our life has special  stages: kindergarten, school, institute, work. Education is also a complex system with certain rules.
Sometimes it seems that our life is a test.  And there is no place for mistakes.
Adults afraid to make a mistake, they don’t like be risky.  We always say “ a mistake” when someone does something differently, against the system.
However, sometimes “mistakes” can be just a creativity . In another word new way  of solving problems.

Going deeper in roots, we may guess that our creativity “dies” at school.
Teachers often have biases against creative students, fearing that creativity in the classroom will be disruptive. They devalue creative personality attributes such as risk taking, impulsivity and independence. They inhibit creativity by focusing on the reproduction of knowledge and obedience in class.

So, on the basis of this, childish bravery and creativity are “clamped” into the framework of the system.

Even so , people have started to understand that educational system needs to be renewed.
And how can creativity be cultivated in schools ?
There are some tips:

- For instance, teachers may focus less on the reproduction of information and more on critical thinking and problem solving.
- Curate activities that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries can be organized .  For example: painting murals that depict biological food chains, acting out plays about historical events, or writing poems about the Space.  The world doesn’t come carved up into different subject areas. Our culture tells us these disciplinary boundaries are real and our thinking becomes trapped in them.
- Also, some lessons can be turned into challenges: students should make groups and solve the creative problems. This provides time and space to foster the forging of new connections that is so important for  creativity.

All in all, the world changes. And all systems should be changed too. People need to become more openminded and creativity in school is the best way for start!

Surviving and Thriving. 

I guess , that everybody knows that our life is amazing, our world is unique. Philosophers and     world’s speakers tell us “enjoy every minute”. However, only one percent from one hundred people “live their day”. In another words, do their days special and happy. 

Others always think about tomorrow.  For instance: “tomorrow is going to be better”  , “tomorrow I will start the new life”. “TOMORROW I will be happy”. 

Moreover, the endless loop of such phrases can lead to depression. 

The thing is there is NO TIME for tomorrow. It is not about recklessly living life as if there is no tomorrow. The future is important to plan for, but it is important not to obsess about it to the extent that you neglect the present. Remember, the only way to get to the future is through a series of todays.

So, there are some obviously simple tips , that we should remember and do every day: 

1. Try to improve 1% each day: this doesn’t seem like much, but imagine how much you will have changed after just two weeks . Just try being 1% happier, healthier, and productive than yesterday and see what happens.

2. Celebrate Your Successes: Just find the time every day to celebrate your successes. Your mental spirit will become stronger, if you know that you are going in a right direction. 

3. Send a letter to your friend: It’s very important to share your emotions with friends. And remind yourself that there are people who support you and love you. 
4. Experiment with your style: every day should be like a new opportunity. It’s a well known fact that our appearance creates the atmosphere. And if you have something bright, you will make smile people around you. 
5. Time for breakfast: for me it’s momentous  how to start my day. And the morning is an incredible chance to concentrate on your plans, goals and create a great mood!

Look to this day!

For it is life, the very life of life.

In its brief course

Lie all the truths and realities of existence:

The joy of growth,

Look well, therefore, to this day!

Advantages:

• Breakups may make you stronger, so the inner power will be grow in your soul. 
• When you lost something, you will find the other thing in life. It’s the law of universe. 
• After broke ups people start to analyze their life and change it. So, everyone tries to correct their limitations. 
• Every broke up is an unique experience. And we should appreciate it , because broke up teaches us the life’s lesson. 
• You are becoming better, after broke ups we make big steps to our future. Also we are looking for the right life way. 

Disadvantages:  

• Broke up makes people feel lonely and disappointed. 
• People lose their interests and goals in life, so they are lost. 
• After broke ups we used to feel stress , and it can cause of serious diseases
• People around us also suffer, because broke ups often make us be aggressive and sad. 
• The scariest thing after broke ups is that person may mentally die. Sometimes people believe that if their relationships over, their life will be over to soon too. 

Today I would like to compare two photos.
First of all , we can see two middle aged gentlemen. Both photos are very bright and give us positive energy. And I guess that these two photos reflect the personality of the gentlemen.

Moreover, they seem to have a lot in common. For instance, both men are in good mood. They are in a quite natural environment for them as they look relaxed. Also we may see their gestures, apparently their body language indicates that they are really friendly and are ready for interpersonal interactions.

However, we may also notice  a number of differences between these two photos. Firstly, I would like to mention that in the left picture we may see that the person is ready to listen, while the person in the right picture is ready to share his ideas and views. To my mind, our math teacher seems much friendlier than Gevin. As for Gevin , he seems to be more self confident and bossy. Furthermore, the left hand picture is taken somewhere outside , so the light is more natural and the colors seem to be brighter than in the right picture.

As for me, the left photo is more to my liking , because I find it more positive as I can see a smile in the eyes and it always produces a very positive impression.

All in all, both  photos have their presence and very special atmosphere.
